Solid Carbide Ream Letter "B" (.238)
Use of a reamer to remove burrs and imperfections from your die will save you lots time and frustration.
When die are machined, small ridges are left after tooling which will cause most biomass to clog when being pressed through the die. Especially sawdust. Make your life easier and stop punching out your clogged die! Ream It!
Comes in 3 different sizes:
Letter "B" (.238), .239 and .240
6mm dies generally will use either the .238 (LB) ream or .239. If you have oversized die holes you may even require a .240
It is suggested you ream your die at least two times, once with the .238 and then again .1000th over with a .239. This way you’ll have nice clean die holes and no clogging.
